Agricola Tiberio is located in the rugged Adriatic region of Abruzzo, where Cristiana Tiberio quickly built a reputation for the excellence of her wines produced on her family's 30-hectare estate. The winery's story begins with Cristiana's father, Riccardo, who, while working for a local winery, accidentally discovered a plot of very old Trebbiano Abruzzese grapes in the hilltop village of Cugnoli. In 2000, Riccardo purchased these vines and an additional 21 hectares, which he planted with the indigenous Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, Trebbiano Abruzzese, and Pecorino grapes. The winery has earned a well-deserved reputation for its award-winning wines, which are now among the most authentic wines of Abruzzo.
