Tasting notes

Straw yellow with green highlights. Bright, very mineral wine with notes of green apple, apricot, mandarin, and lemon peel, with nuances of white flowers and anise. Lively, precise, and crystalline. Rich and tactile, it reveals an intense lemony acidity. Long, mineral, and harmonious finish, with a smooth, stony texture. Pairs well with lobster, truffles, and guinea fowl.

Eric Guido, May 2025 (Vintage 2022)

The 2022 Trebbiano d'Abruzzo Fonte Canale lifts from the glass with utter poise. It's citric and mineraldriven, displaying a cascade of wildflowers, crushed rocks, nectarines and hints of raw almond. The 2022 is elegant in style with subtle textures and depths of saline-infused orchard fruits, all offset by a spike of lemonyacidity. Saturating and long, it tapers off with a flinty personality, plus a twang of gingery spice that lingers so long. The 2022 is stacked, powerful and intense, but it has an inner harmony that soothes the soul.
