Product notes
350 meters above sea level – 1,200 feet above sea level. Limestone, marl-clay soil over sandstone-rich bedrock. Guyot-regulated, planted in 2000. Colle Vota is not a "Riserva," but a "Single Vineyard" Montepulciano d'Abruzzo. The Montepulciano grown in the Colle Vota vineyard has characteristics that clearly distinguish it from all other Montepulciano grown in our Tiberio vineyards. The bunches and berries are much smaller, with crisper, thicker skins.
