About this winery
Vallée des Aigles wines were born many years ago, the fruit of a collaboration between David Serodes and Boris Kovac, as consulting winemakers with the winegrowers around their domaine, Domaine de l'Agly. Gradually, they extended their selection of plots to the Limoux region and the foothills of the Montagne Noire, from Carcassonne to Faugères and Pic Saint Loup. Terroir : Stony limestone-clay and schist-clay soils of Salses Le Château.
Production notes
This Cazot Orange cuvée is made using a technique usually employed for red wines, macerating white-skinned grapes with the juice for 14 days. Daily pump-overs and temperature controls are carried out. 30% of the cuvée is vinified in 3- and 4-wine oak barrels.
Tasting notes
Attractive color with orange highlights. Nose of tangerine and peach blossom. Nice attack with notes of orange and pomelo. Full-bodied and slightly tannic, with a lively structure and long citrus aromas.
