Product notes
This Langhe Nebbiolo comes from the vineyards of Sinio, located between 340 and 400 m above sea level, planted in 1985 or earlier. The vines grow on clay-limestone soils benefiting from varied exposures: west, south and east, under a unique Piedmontese climate.
Production notes
The grapes are destemmed and pressed, then undergo a two-day cold maceration before fermentation takes place at 30°C. After 10 to 15 days of skin maceration and complete malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged for 12 months in Slavonian oak barrels, then six months in the bottle.
Tasting notes
A perfect marriage within the classic Nebbiolo structure, an irresistible charm and a pleasing taste. A full-bodied wine with intense aromas of rose petals, deep notes of red fruit, and a subtle touch of cherry. The tannins are well-integrated, evoking a fruit soup and a more structured overall character. Typical and quintessentially Nebbiolo, it reveals a complexity that transcends the boundaries of the Langhe appellation. Its quality is comparable to that of a Barolo or a Langhe Rosso. An ideal Nebbiolo for a sunny Wednesday! Pairs well with pasta and red wines
