Product notes

Growing from sandy, limestone-rich soils, the vines are located on moraine soils in the hilly areas of Colà di Lasise, at an altitude of 120 meters. The organic vineyard is composed of vines planted between 1985 and 2008, covering an area of approximately two hectares.

Production notes

The grapes are carefully harvested by hand at the optimum moment of phenolic maturity and aged in stainless steel and concrete vats.

Tasting notes

Intense ruby red color. Fruity aromas with notes of orange, cherry, anise, and dried flowers. The palate is vibrant, smooth, and balanced. Pairs well with charcuterie, tartare, and pizza.

Tamlyn Currin, December 2024 (Vintage 2022)

Despite the 20% Merlot, this tastes Bardolino-like – unmistakably a wine from Lake Garda. It has that ping-bright, fire-engine redness of fruit, that nip of dill-and-mint herbs, that little scratch of rain-wet-gravel stoniness. The tannins slightly chalky. It has a long, cool, quenching minerality that reminds me of cold, clear water on a wide stretch of pebbled beach. It's ineffably drinkable. Because it's that time of year as I write this, I'm going to add that it will be bloody brilliant with turkey. But it's the kind of wine that will pretty much go with anything, any time.
