Product notes
Barthélemy comes from a plot with a unique geology called “les Rocs”, planted with 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon.
Production notes
This wine is obtained after natural vinification known as infusion. Livestock is made for at least two years in experienced barrels, by dynamization, depending on the phases of the moon without adding anhydride sulphurous or others. It is bottled without filtration.
Tasting notes
Its color is dense and reminiscent of blackcurrant. Its nose transports us to childhood with aromas of caramel barley sugar and vanilla notes, then evolves towards slightly liquorice d'ante plums. His mouth has the deliciousness of a fresh blueberry pie. The tannins are present and balanced. The more blackcurrant finish is consistent with its color. Pairing with game and grilled meats.
