About this winery
The origin of the Château de Minière dates back to the 15th century. The property was a fortified farm. Later, it became a manor; then, during the 16th century, it became a Château. The last wing of the Château was built during the union of Colonel du Soulier with the d’Espinay family. This family also owned the Château d’Ussé not far from there, on the other side of the Loire.

Production notes
Grown on young vines aged between 20 and 30 years, rooted in sandy and sandy-clay soils of the Loire region, this rosé benefits from a terroir that imparts a refreshing aromatic profile. The vines are trained using the single Guyot method, with rigorous debudding to control yields and enhance quality. Harvesting is among the earliest on the estate, following careful monitoring of grape ripeness on the vine. It is carried out mechanically, with meticulous sorting of the berries at the winery. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks over 8 to 10 days at a moderate temperature of 16°C, to maximize aromatic potential. Bottling occurs in February to preserve the wine’s fresh fruit character.
Tasting notes
With its pale pink hue and golden highlights, this wine reveals an elegant and aromatic nose, marked by notes of peach and citrus. On the palate, it offers refreshing citrus flavors and a lively character. Perfect as an aperitif, it also pairs beautifully with mixed salads, raw or marinated fish, and exotic fruit salads. Serve well chilled, between 10 and 12 °C, to fully enjoy its freshness. Best enjoyed within two years to appreciate its fruity aromas.
