Vines 10 to 70 years old planted 300m above sea level on south-facing terraces in a bay The name commemorates a poor farmer who sold his dog during the famine.
Spontaneous fermentation, with berries, in stainless steel vats after maceration for 48 hours. Aged for 12 months in stainless steel vats, 10 months on raw lees and berries.
Intense yellow-green with silver highlights. Delicate notes of tropical fruits such as pineapple and mango, a touch of orange zest, a hint of peach, a mineral note. Juicy, notes of white stone fruit, elegant and balanced, fine acidity, fresh and persistent, a touch of lemon, good length, a multi-faceted gastronomic wine with ageing potential.
