Tasting notes

Straw yellow with light golden highlights. A fine and elegant bouquet where the typical citrus and floral notes stand out, with light spicy hints. Fresh, savoury in which the acid component balances the alcohol component and makes the wine persistent, long and extremely mineral. Pairings with fish and seafood

James Suckling, July 2024 (Vintage 2023)

Lively aromas of nectarines, lemons, white peaches and honeysuckle that follow through to a medium body with delicious fruit and a vivid finish. Shows plenty of energy. Drink or hold.

Monica Larner, April 2025 (Vintage 2023)

The Girolamo Russo 2023 Etna Bianca Nerina is a blend of Carricante (at 70%) with Minnella, Grecanico and Catarratto. This is a lovely wine that shows tension and clear lines with fresh lemon zest, minty apple and soft honeycomb. The wine wraps nicely over the palate, imparting a lean to medium-weight texture over a crisp, mineral-rich finish. Only 20% of the wine sees two months of oak and the rest goes into stainless steel. This is a production of 14,000 bottles.
