Product notes
Born during the 2019 harvest from a historic vineyard, plot 38, on the hill of the homonymous Vicchio estate, which, more than any other, has been able to highlight over the years the notes of morello cherry and violet, typical of Sangiovese from the red clays of Marzeno.
Production notes
Vinification in medium-capacity stainless-steel vats with maceration on skins for approx. 10-12 days. Aging in steel vats for around 6 months.
Tasting notes
Brilliant ruby. On the nose, intensely fruity, highlighted by notes of morello cherry and red cherry, typical of the red clay of Marzeno, with a subtle mineral touch. On the palate, refreshing, with fine tannins well supported by a pleasant acidity. The fruity notes perfectly match the nose. Pair with carpaccio, tartare, and charcuterie.
