Product notes
Bottled only in years deemed worthy of interest, Pietramora brings together the best of the Sangiovese produced in our vineyards, now all trained in goblet and planted with high-density vines. Among the red wines, Pietramora is therefore the wine that is closest to our hearts and that, more than any other, reflects – and we hope – the character of the vintage
Production notes
Vinification in 500-liter French oak tonneaux for two weeks with manual pumping over and reassembly and in stainless steel tanks of medium capacity with maceration for 15-21 days. Aging in French oak barriques (20% new) for twelve months.
Tasting notes
Ruby red. Red berries, spices, earth, and peat are evident on the nose. Woody notes are also evident. Powerful, warm, and dynamic on the palate. This wine has notable tannins and a long, lingering finish. Pair with red meats.
