About this winery

The domaine was founded by Michel and Françoise ANDRÉ, both Burgundians and lovers of Burgundy wines. The adventure began for them in 1983 with the acquisition of our Savigny les Beaune 1 st cru “Les Vergelesses” vineyard. A succession of vineyard purchases from prestigious Côte de Beaune terroirs followed, to reach 11 hectares today.

Product notes

Vineyard acquired in 2019, first vintage produced in 2020 76-year-old vines on a clay-limestone terroir

Production notes

The harvest is carried out manually with careful sorting of the bunches. During alcoholic fermentation, the must is tasted daily to adjust punching down and/or pumping over depending on the progress of the vatting process. The racking takes place within 20 days following the grape harvest date. The must is then aged in 228-liter barrels for 12 months. The proportion of new barrels, around 25 to 30% per year, is deliberately moderate to allow the terroir of the appellation to express itself.

Tasting notes

Ruby red color. Nose of red fruits (cherry and raspberry) with a hint of pepper and minerality. Beautiful structure with silky tannins and an exceptional, precise finish. Pairs well with veal and red meats.
