About this winery

The domaine was founded by Michel and Françoise ANDRÉ, both Burgundians and lovers of Burgundy wines. The adventure began for them in 1983 with the acquisition of our Savigny les Beaune 1 st cru “Les Vergelesses” vineyard. A succession of vineyard purchases from prestigious Côte de Beaune terroirs followed, to reach 11 hectares today.

Product notes

Vineyard acquired in 2019, first vintage produced in 2020. 76-year-old vines on a clay-limestone terroir

Production notes

The harvest is carried out manually with careful sorting of the bunches. The whole grapes are then pressed in a pneumatic press. Pressing with a slow and regular increase in pressure produces fine and elegant wines. In this same spirit, settling (separation of the must from the suspended matter) is pushed. The musts (juice collected by crushing the grapes) carry out their alcoholic and malolactic fermentations in 350-liter barrels. Batonnage is limited or even prohibited in sunny vintages in order to preserve the freshness and tension of the wine. The proportion of new barrels is around 25 to 30% per year.

Tasting notes

This is a delicious white wine, both dense and slender, with a chalky mineral touch at the opening and a fine, creamy oakiness. We fully appreciate this balance between substance and precision, with great dynamics, a tangy thread throughout, and plenty of charm. Pair with Lobster, Veal, and Cheese
