Tasting notes
ounger vintages have a garnet-red, ruby-red color, while older vintages have orange highlights and very old vintages have an onion-peel color. The nose reveals aromas of ripe red fruit, dominated by blackcurrants, redcurrants, burnt almonds and sometimes mushrooms and undergrowth. The palate is round, full and delicate, with velvety tannins and a long, pleasantly complex finish.
