About this winery
The Borie de Maurel estate is located in the heart of the Livinière terroir (Félines-Minervois), the first Villages appellation of Minervois and Languedoc. Product notes
History of the Cuvée: This fiery, beautiful night character owes it to the alliance of the bubbling grenache - which makes up 100% of it - and the freshness of an altitude terroir clinging to the slopes of the black mountain, a terroir tortured by erosion, juggling between flint, calcareous marls and siliceous clays.
Production notes
As is customary, the harvest is done by hand, the maceration is long, while the aging - 18 months - is carried out in vats and bottles so as not to mask, with wood, the finesse of this wine for connoisseurs.
Tasting notes
If Latinity were a wine, it would undoubtedly be Belle de Nuit. A sensual, generous, carnal vintage that seems to offer itself up at first glance, at first sniff… Yet, with this wine, be patient: beneath its blood-red robe lie all the tender secrets of Andalusian nights, a feria of spicy aromas, sweetness and intensity intimately intertwined. Yes, be patient, and in 5 or 10 years, you will see a dreamlike gypsy dancing under the Sevillian moon. Pairs well with saucy dishes and a good paella.
