Hazy, pale, lemony yellow. Sweet, aromatic pear-fruit nose and pear-jelly fruit on the palate. A little artificial and could do with more acidity. But the effort is admirable, as is the fact that the bottle comes without a capsule.

Une attaque franche et vive, qui perdure pour révéler ensuite une aromatique complexe d'agrumes et de fruits blancs. La finale est ample et généreuse, à l'image du millésime solaire qu'a connu la région cette année-là.

Jancis Robinson, Juillet 2024
Deep crimson. Very reduced and sweaty, which only partially lifts with aeration. Supple red fruit that is much less marked by the reductive notes on the nose, and rustic tannins. Something that would go well with simple, hearty dishes.

James Suckling, Mars 2025
A serious wine for this appellation that is often regarded as being all about aroma and fruit freshness. Good concentration is married to restrained velvety tannins that are already beautifully integrated. Plenty of violet, black-cherry and raspberry aromas. A quite bold yet polished finish. From organically grown grapes. Matured for 14 months in large oak vats. Drink or hold.

James Suckling, Juin 2025
This seriously structured Brouilly has a lot of power but remains graceful with a compact core of tightly interlocked fine tannins and stony minerality. The very bright and precise finish has understated strength. From a site on the western flank of Mont Brouilly with mainly pink granite but also some blue volcanic soil. From organically grown grapes. This could show even better after a year or two of further bottle-aging. Drinkable now but best from 2026.

James Suckling, Mars 2024
This beautiful Fleurie has stacks of black raspberry fruit, but is anything other than loud. It gracefully tiptoes over your palate. Barely medium-bodied, but such a wonderful elegance right through the very long, filigreed finish. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold.

James Suckling, Juin 2024
Needs a moment in the glass for the forest-berry aromas to open up. Very minerally and smoky with plenty of forest-floor character. Stunning concentration and great elegance right through the extremely long and finely etched finish. Difficult to pull yourself away from this remarkable Brouilly. That this is only medium-bodied actually increases its appeal. Just a hint of blood oranges in the finish magnifies its freshness. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold.

James Suckling, Juin 2024
One of the new giants of Beaujolais that nonetheless retains the lightness of touch and elegance of these wines. Enormous concentration of sour cherry, cassis and forest berry aromas is married to an expertly crafted tannin structure that is so detailed and so fascinating. Incredibly long, compact and energetic finish that leaves you breathless. Very limited production. From organically grown grapes grown in a genuine clos that is completely surrounded by a high stone wall. Drinkable now, but best from 2025.
