About this winery

Manoir de la Bellonière is located in Cravant-les-Côteaux, in the Chinon appellation. Today, the estate covers 27 hectares of vines, mainly planted with Cabernet Franc, with a confidential parcel of Chenin. The vineyard has always used environmentally-friendly methods. All cuvées are certified organic, with the exception of La Bellonière, which will be certified organic for the 2021 vintage.

Product notes

Gravelly and clayey sands on the banks of the Vienne. 30-year-old vines.

Production notes

Grapes harvested at optimal ripeness, macerated on the skins for two days, then racked and fermented alcoholicly. Indigenous yeasts, unfiltered and unfined.

Tasting notes

Red wines with notes of red fruit (cherry, raspberry) and violet, supported by a fine tannic structure. Incredibly fresh and balanced! Pairs well with roasted quail and charcuterie.
