The story of Vignobles Famille Courselle began in 1950, when André Courselle bought Château Thieuley and set about creating a vineyard. In 1972, his son Francis Courselle, then a young agricultural engineer and viticulture teacher, decided to accelerate the development of the vineyard. You leave Château Thieuley heading south along the Garonne River and pass through small villages and beautiful forests, climbing and descending, then arriving in the Côtes de Bordeaux. It is here, in the commune of Capian, that you will discover this small 5-hectare vineyard, cultivated on gravel, partly in terraces. A true gem in a green setting: you are at Clos Sainte Anne.
Vinification in stainless steel vats. Aging in 2/3 barrels, 1/3 concrete vats for 12 months
Deep ruby color. The nose develops intense notes of ripe fruit with spicy and roasted notes (coffee, chocolate). The palate is rich and round with silky tannins. This wine, characterized by its balance and roundness, has a feminine style. Pair with charcuterie and flank steak.
A perfumed, juicy wine, with ripe tannins and a core of firm fruit, this is rich and structured. The balance is there, ripe and with concentration. Drink the wine from 2025.
