About this winery

Château de Suronde has been farmed organically for over 20 years and resumed biodynamic practices in 2017. The wine is made from Demeter grapes from our biodynamic vineyards. The estate also boasts 10 hectares of gardens, farmland, and forests, creating exceptional biodiversity. Ideal for producing healthy, ripe grapes and grapes resistant to noble rot in the best years.

Reggie Solomon, September 2024 (Vintage 2022)

Pale lemon in color, this wine has a reserved nose of Fuji apple, lemon zest and white peach. The palate is round in texture, with a handful of chalk dust riding in the foreground of the taste. Pair with seafood, sautées and fried dishes.

James Suckling, May 2024 (Vintage 2022)

This dry chenin blanc is very bright and fresh, with crisp pear and flint aromas plus some healthy tannins on the medium-bodied palate. Very crisp acidity drives the extremely refreshing finish. From organically grown grapes. Drink now.
